Trial sessions for new dogs

We require dogs who are new to our services to have trial sessions with us. These sessions are chargeable. We do not accept dogs who have not undertaken the trial sessions. During the trial sessions we make assessments and observations.

Those dogs applying for creche time must come for a two-hour trial session. Dogs applying for day care must come for a full day (9am -5 pm) and dogs applying for boarding must stay for three nights so that we can make a full observation.

Dog owners will be requested to collect their dogs immediately if the dog is:

  •  Barking excessively.
  • Causing damage to property on a regular basis
  • Urinating in the house.
  •  Mounting or humping of any kind.
  • Engaging in over the top/rough play.
  • Showing signs of aggression towards children, staff or members of the public

We do not provide a dog training service, so we are not able to correct dog behavioural problems.

We understand some dogs might struggle to stay in a new environment without their owners, so we make every effort to ensure everyone feels safe and happy. Your dog will be slowly introduced to one dog at a time, get to explore the downstairs rooms, go on walks and be included in other activities.

ALL DOGS MUST BE GOOD AROUND CHILDREN UNDER 5 – (Please don’t guess)
